We believe arts and language are important for the development of children, exposing them to different languages increases brain activity and provides them the opportunity to learn about other cultures.
Students will have the opportunity to explore and develop cooking skills as part of the curriculum, this will help developing healthy habits and promote health awareness.
Students will be provided the opportunity to connect with their inner self while boosting physical health. Yoga has been proven to provide many benefits for physical and mental health.
Fatima holds a BS in Social Psychology with a concentration in Children and Adolescents and Master's in Clinical Psychology from University of Washington, in addition she also holds a BA in Early Learning and Teacher Education & Bachelor in Social Work. Her experience includes working for non profit organizations dedicated to helping families in adversity and children with special needs, she has also worked at private and public schools as a behavioral specialist and program director in the surrounding areas.
Fatima is responsible for the overall leadership, management, and success of The Learning Nest. Her role ensures a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment for children, while overseeing staff, maintaining licensing compliance, and building a strong relationships with families and the community.
Fatima is also the Owner of Serenidad Counseling which provides client treatment programs, support and resources to families, children and adolescents.
Moe holds a MBA from Carnegie Mellon University, his experience in business consulting and business management positions in big companies in the West Coast provides a critical role at The Learning Nest to ensure the smooth and efficient financial oversight, administrative management, and strategic planning to support the overall mission of providing quality care and education to children.
Moe is responsable for budgeting, HR support, regulatory compliance, facilities, and day to day operations. He works closely with the Director and educators to create a safe, efficient, and sustainable environment for staff, children and families.
Moe has strong organizational and multitasking abilities, proficiency in accounting, budgeting, and payroll systems, knowledge of childcare regulations and compliance standards, excellent communication and interpersonal skills making him a great addition to our team.
Dani provides administrative and clerical support to ensure the smooth operation of The Learning Nest. Her role is essential in managing communication, maintaining records, and assisting the business manager, director, staff and families. She helps create an organized and welcoming environment while supporting day to day operations.
Dani assists with family inquiries and provide general information, distributes newsletters, announcements and other communications, maintains records for children and staff, supports the enrollment process and handles supplies and inventory.
Marisa supports daily operations of The Learning Nest, ensuring high quality care and education for children, maintaining regulatory compliance, and building relationships with children and their families. She helps foster a safe, nurturing, and professional environment for children, families, and staff.
Marisa builds and maintains strong, supportive relationships with families, assists with family communication, including newsletters and daily updates, helps manage parent inquiries, feedback, and concerns in a timely and respectful manner.
Koalas Classroom: 1 month to 12 month olds
Birds Classroom: 12 months to 30 months
Owls Classroom: 2.5 year olds to 3.5 year olds
Rabbits Classroom: 3.5 to 5 year olds
ISD Students: Kindergarten to 4th grade
PART TIME: 9:00am to 1:00pm
FULL TIME: 9:00am to 3:00pm
