Preschool Program (2.5 to 5 year olds)

Preschool Curriculum

Our preschool program follows a Reggio Emilia philosophy as well as a STEM incorporated curriculum. Our priority is for children to thrive in a social/emotional environment.

Our preschool program offers learning centers such as art station, blocks, fine motor, dramatic play, writing area, math area, music, library and puzzles.

Mathematics, Science, Geography, Sensory, Language, Art and Movement, Cooking and Yoga are part of the curriculum.

STEM project opportunities are incorporated on a monthly basis.

Spanish incorporated in our curriculum help us provide a bilingual program.

Field Trips during the School Year:

- Issaquah Library

- Fire Station

- Police Station

- Issaquah Salmon Hatchery

Teachers use MyKidzDay as a tool for posting pictures, newsletters, event information, reminders and private messages with parents.

Teachers

Preschool lead teachers hold a minimum of BA/AA in Early Childhood Education or related field and they receive trainings from the Issaquah School District as well as trainings offered by the Department of Early Learning.
