Miss Julissa is the Birds Co-Lead Teacher, she loves working with children and her calm personality allow her to provide a nurturing environment for young children. She is fluent in Spanish and provides the language curriculum in the classroom as children learn words in Spanish. She's up to date with her STARS hours and she's always looking for ways to learn new things and bring ideas to the classroom. Her favorite age is one year olds and her favorite thing to do in the classroom is sign and dance with the class. Miss Julisa is proud to be from Peru.
Miss Isabel is the Birds Co-Lead Teacher. She was a teacher for many years in Mexico before moving to the United States. She likes to provide a nurturing environment and learn from students as much as she can. She speaks Spanish and provides strong language skills along with providing a fun and caring environment. She is currently enrolled in school to earn her Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education. Miss Isabel is proud to be from Mexico.
Miss Francis is the Birds Assistant Teacher, she is coming back to our school this year after taking some time off. She provides support and helps the teachers implement new activities and curriculum. She provides support with the Spanish curriculum and is very involved when it comes to planning, she likes to provide a nurturing environment for our students where they can thrive socially and emotionally. She is currently enrolled at school and looking forward to obtaining her early childhood state certfication this year. Miss Francis is proud to be from Mexico.
Miss Yessenia is the Owls Lead Teacher. She has worked in the 3 year old and Pre-K classroom for many years and has a lot of experience in helping students thrive. She provides support with the English curriculum in the classroom and is always looking for ways to implement her knowledge in the classroom. She likes to provide activities that will benefit the students learning and likes to focus on her Spanish curriculum. Her favorite things to do in the classroom are art activities and fine motor activities. She likes to see her students grow socially and emotionally. She is currently working on finishing her AA in Preschool Education. Miss Yessenia is proud to be from Colombia.
Miss Rosy is the Owls Assistant Teacher. She has been a volunteer at King County for more than 15 years and has also worked as a special education volunteer at several centers. She loves working with children and specilizing in special education, providing support in the classroom with techniques to address challenging behaviors. She likes to keep a calm and nurturing environment while also making sure all students follow rules and learn social/emotional skills to be successful in a preschool environment. Miss Rosy is proud to be from Mexico.
Miss Lupita is our Owls Assistant Teacher. She provides support to our young preschool classroom. She has worked in preschool settings for the last couple of years and is currently attending school to obtain her AA in Early Childhood Education. She is hoping to complete it soon and be able to continue obtaning experience to eventually have her own classroom and apply her knowledge and experience in a classroom setting. Miss Lupita provides a very calm, nurturing and friendly environment, she believes that adults are role models and it's our responsability to help our students thrive socially and emotionally by providing them with the necessary tools and skills so they can explore the world. Miss Lupita is proud to be from Mexico.
Miss Edith is the Deers Lead Teacher, she holds a BA in Elementary Education and has more than 25 years of experience as a teacher. Her experience includes Preschool and Kindergarten to 2nd grade. Her main focus is preschool readiness and she offers opportunties for students to thrive in a nurturing environment while focusing on social/emotional skills. She also speaks Spanish and likes to create a fun environment for students to develop language skills and achieve her main goal to prepare students for success in preschool. She is very fun and likes to provide an interesting environment so students like to explore and use critica thinking. Miss Edith is proud to be from Mexico.
Miss Ingrid is the Deers Assistant Teacher, she has been living in Washington for the last 4 years and has enjoyed working in different settings. She graduated to earn her BA in Business Administration but after many years in that area she decided to persue another career as a teacher. She loves working with children and believes children provide a positive experience in our lives. She enjoys working in a classroom where children learn how to speak, read and write in Spanish. She provides support with planning, circle time and music. She is proud to be from Colombia.
Miss Samantha is the Rabbits Lead Teacher and Program Supervisor, she has many years of experience and was a teacher in Mexico. She completed her BA in Preschool Education in Mexico and has been working at local preschools where she is able to implement the curriculum and apply her knowledge and experience. She is focused on providing a loving, nurturing and educational environment for her students and making sure they hold the skills to succeed in Kindergarten. She likes to do music, arts and crafts and physical education with her students. Her circle times include opportunities for students to grow their social and emotional skills. Samantha also provides support for teachers and help them grow and achieve professional goals, as Program Supervisor she provides resources to improve the program and make sure we are meeting expectations. Miss Samantha is proud to be from Mexico.
Miss Lisset is the Rabbits Assistant Teacher. After earning her BA in Social Science she moved from Mexico and started working with children and families, her main focus is development and nurturing environment which helps her provide the approrpiate tools to the teachers. She is currently enrolled in school to earn her AA in Early Childhood Education and hopes to continue growing her knowledge by taking certifications. She likes working with families and being available to address concerns and give support to co-workers and families. Although she already holds a BA she is eager to continue learning about development and be able to provide support to children in her class. Miss Liss is proud to be from Mexico.
Miss Dani is the Rabbits Assistant Teacher, she provides support with the English curriculum in the classroom. Her love for children help her build a trusting relationship with our students, she likes to introduce new learning opportunities to reinfoce emotional and social skills. She has been working with children for a long time and has an extended experience with her own siblings, she is currently enrolled in school to earn her AA in Early Childhood Education. She enjoys providing movement activities and teaching her students to use proper vocabulary in the classroom and follow rules. She is a great addition to the classroom because of her nurturing and loving way of handling conflict and resolving any issues. Miss Dani is proud to be from Guatemala.
